Bob and Dot are overdue to return from their vacation. Hopefully, this just means they're having a good time. Enzo and Dani are having a nice time too, since they finally started sneaking her out for invisible looks 'round the city.

Still, there are some things that need to be done. Like packing. He'll be heading to the Academy pretty soon after she leaves. He can't bring an awful lot of stuff, which actually makes packing harder than if he were bringing everything he might want. And, of course, there are some things he really can't bring.

He examines an MPEG and a bunch of action figures. "Uh-uh. It's nothing like our Tron stories and half of it's in Userspace. My roommates would ask questions." He places them on the discard stack.

Especially since the collided vehicles would then plummet to the ground... Yeek.

"Good." Beat. "So who won?" 'Cause he's got no way of knowing.

Dani thinks for a nano.

"Dunno," she says at last. "I think it was a tie."

[a1enzo]

"Cool."

He seats himself atop the floating sphere.

It's a nice view.

Really nice.

"It may sound kinda weird, but...I think I'm going to miss this place when Danny and I go back home," she remarks.

[a1enzo]

"Y'know," says Enzo slowly, "Mainframe needs more kids. 'Specially now that I'm going."

"Yeah," she agrees "but they'd have to come from other systems wouldn't they?"

It's going to be a while before Dot and Bot (and maybe Matrix and AndrAIa) bless Mainframe with the pitter-patter of little sprite feet.

Yes, but not for lack of encouragement from Enzo. Mouse and Ray would be interesting; their child would never stay put and, as a friend of the mun's noted, would be visible from orbit.

"They'd have to come from somewhere else, yeah..." He raises his eyebrows at her.

She sees his raised eyebrows, and blinks. "What?"

"Well, I just thought... you're living in Milliways right now, and you don't have anywhere else to go..." He looks kind of sheepish.

She stares at Enzo in surprise, then looks away.

"I-I don't know, Enzo," she says, looking out at the horizon. "I mean, Danny...Danny wants me to come live with him when he tells his folks..."

She'd love to move to Mainframe, but Danny kinda already promised her and she is his family...

The horizon isn't really a horizon, of course. It's where the sea is actually meeting the sky.

"Oh. I mean, that's great, and they're your family, really, so yeah, of course that's the best..." His babbling is going nowhere and he trails off.

[ami_imperfect]

She gives him a bashful smile.

"I appreciate the offer, though."

Enzo nods. "Well, I mean, if you ever do need somewhere to stay..."

[ami_imperfect]

Dani nods. "I'll let you know, I promise."

[a1enzo]

"Cool."

Silence for a nano as they look out over the city.

"Oh! Photo!"

Beside Enzo, Dani dissolves into giggles.

"C'mon, we'd better get this picture taken before Danny decides we've been out too long and comes looking for us."

[a1enzo]

Enzo gets back on his boogie baud. "An' with both of you invisible, that could take forever. We better not go down through the subsphere. It's got something to do with the Core energy, sometimes they use it to make Tears..."

[ami_imperfect]

She nods. "Front door, then?"

[a1enzo]

"Uh-huh."

Enzo leaves the boogie baud temporarily in its parking hover, so that when he tips it forward, instead of lifting off, it slides down over the surface of the subsphere and launches into space with a whoop from its rider.

Dani giggles at his antics as she goes invisible again and floats down after him.
