The Matrix home is filled with a tuneless jangling.

Enzo has been picking up how the chords should go fairly easily, but actually training his hands to play them is something else. There's music hiding in there somewhere, but... well, his aim's a bit off.

But still. He is entertaining his guests. Right?

Hmm...not quite blushing blue yet, maybe this'll get him. AndrAIa leeeeans over and places a hand daintily on Danny's shoulder. "Well, your girlfriend has very good taste."

Matrix just grits his teeth, giving his glare an extra edge by making his eye glow faintly red.

Oh, he is good at this. Lots and lots of practice.

"...Um, can you please stop touching me? I think Matrix is trying to make my head explode by sheer force of his hate."

AndrAIa lets her hand linger on Danny's shoulder for a few moments while she stares at him. If one is watching closely, one might be able to see the corners of her mouth twitch. Finally she removes the hand and slumps forward, elbows on her knees, and begins giggling quite helplessly.

Matrix's "glare" dropped at just about the same time, a smirk appearing on his face as he begins to laugh as well.

"Well...he did a lot better than most of them usually do," he says to AndrAIa.

"Oh, I knew she was messing with me. I did," said Danny, and to Matrix, he went on, "I didn't know if you were in on it. Hence the fearing for my life."

"Aw, c'mon, runt," Matrix says with a grin. "You gotta learn to lighten up."

What? Matrix is being nice.

Or...at the very least, he's being nice compared to how he usually is.

AndrAIa isn't the only one laughing. Enzo pipes up through his own giggles:

"Her bit still worked! You were almost indigo!" His laughter dies and his expression changes to one of mild worry. "Am I gonna get like that when I'm 11?" Code forbid!

"Guess we'll find out when that happens, huh?"

As if. Enzo catches her out of the corner of his eye and flushes.

Surfacing from her fit of giggles, AndrAIa notices Enzo's blush and teases him good-naturedly.

"I don't think you have to wait to turn 11, Lil' Sparky."

Enzo's face is a sudden mask of panic. "Huh?!" AndrAIaaaaa...

A small smile still tugs at the corners of her mouth as AndrAIa sends a conspiritorial sort of wink at Enzo.

"This is, of course, speaking from personal experience."

"Oh! Oh, yeah." Enzo breathes out heavily in relief. "Matrix. Right."

So that...was going to grow up into THAT.

Enzo was possibly going to turn into a biker. Dani was going to want to date a freaking...
