Enzo woke up very early this cycle. This is kind of a problem, as the PARTY! isn't until late morning and the specifics are meant to be a surprise, so he's had to hang around the house while Dot is out making sure everything's set up.

Thus, he's twitching with suppressed energy, but he's still ridiculously happy, 'cause he finally gets to have a real birthday party!

Matrix was there to congratulate Enzo too. He'd been told about the plan a little last minute, but he agreed it was a good idea.

After all, he'd probably still be in Daemon's control right now if it wasn't for him.

Or...well, not. Exploding virus, and all that jazz. But still.

From her position beside Matrix, AndrAIa offers her own congratulations. She crouches and hugs the small sprite tightly. "Congratulations, li'l Sparky."

"Thanks, guys," Enzo says as he hugs AndrAIa back. Looking up at Matrix, he wonders, "Is this how it felt when Bob recruited you?"

Matrix chuckles a little bit.

"It's missing the giant horde of Web creatures flying overhead, but yeah, pretty much, kid."

Enzo grimaces. "I think I like it better this way."

AndrAIa gives Enzo another squeeze. "You'll make a wonderful Guardian..." She pauses to give Matrix a wry grin. "You did last time."

Eh heh. Matrix manages to keep himself from looking embarrassed at that last part.

"I'm sure you'll do great. Just...uh...try not to develop an affinity for explosions like I did."

He assumes 'blow it up' is generally not a valid answer for a test...one of a number of reasons he's never decided to go to the academy himself.
