Once more, Enzo emerges from the Matrices' closet. "Mouse?" he calls. "You got everything? Did Oracle show up okay?"

"I s'pose y'could call me a scientist, sort'a," Mouse chimes in. "But I ain't mad, just bad." She flashes Danny a friendly-but-somehow-unnerving grin.

No, not helping. But sometimes Mouse can't resist bugging people a little.

Oracle would shoot Mouse a quelling look, but she's a bit distracted. By her legs (yay legs!).

She turns to Danny, "I haven't had a chance to really look at Dani's code yet, but I can assure you that I am one of the best coders you will ever meet. And with Mouse and Dot? We won't have any problems."

Mouse got one eye narrowed at her, in a sort of twitch. (It was the fangs. Vlad had fangs).

But eventually, Danny just breathed out, "Okay. So. Time to go, I guess?"

"Not just yet, darlin'." Mouse turns to Bob. "Hey. Can ya tell me what yer scan of Dani looks like?" She's actually worried - only a little, but still worried - that a hidden file command might be sufficient to trigger some instability in Dani's code.

"She's stable for now," says Bob. "She shouldn't get any errors unless she tries to use her special abilities."

"Okay, then. We're good t'go," Mouse says. "The car's downstairs. Hidden file commands're in the back seat. We'll kinda have t'squeeze in, but it's a pretty short trip." Mouse and Dot had discussed the option of using two vehicles leaving at different times along different routes, but had eventually discarded the notion as unnecessarily complicated.
