"Yep, you guys get two for the price of one. I'm Danny. And this is Dani," he said, smirking.

"Him, I know," he said gesturing towards Matrix, and looking less than pleased that he was there. He still remembered the shooting his parents thing. "You're new. AndrAIa, right? Little Enzo's told us about you, and I saw you from a distance during the Daemon thing before we booked."

Danny leaned over and held out a hand.

She smiles at Danny and leans down slightly to shake his proffered hand.

"That'd be me. Nice to meet you Danny, although I don't recall seeing you while that whole thing was going down."

Whoa. Cleavage overload!

...On her face, to clarify.

"Uh, well, I didn't exactly look like this."

"A little closer to this. I was up on the roof with the big, scary red guy...?"

The actual process of Danny changing is enough to startle the Game sprite into straighting quite quickly. However, once he's changed, recognition clicks in her mind.

"Oh right! I remember you now!"

Dani looks over at Matrix. "I remember you," she tells the renegade. "You were the one who threw me and Enzo out of the bar when Danny's parents showed up there."

"And he shot them. My parents, that is. Let's not forget that part," Danny said sullenly, crossing his arms and fwashing back to normal.

Matrix gives Danny a Look.

"Let's also not forget about the part where your parents were shooting at everyone else. And I thought your mom pulled a knife on my sister!"

A pause.

"Besides, they were stun rounds. How many times do I have to say it?"

"With ecto foam! Mostly. At worst people would've had to use bleach the next time they washed their clothes, and I'd managed to talk my mom down, so you didn't have to shoot her at all."

Stun rounds or no, he still held a grudge.

Mainly because he didn't like getting scared and he worried about his parents croaking on him. It all pretty much stemmed from that whole evil, alternate future self trying to blow them up business. It was a thing.

"Did I know that? No. All I saw were two people, who seemed completely random, bursting in with massive guns and shooting at people. I reacted."

Ugh. He was getting tired of this.

"Hey, kid. Tell ya what. You forget about this--since I didn't hurt your parents--maybe, just maybe..." He places a hand on AndrAIa's shoulder. "...I'll forget about that little look you were giving my girlfriend earlier."

One might not think this is a fair deal, but considering what Matrix normally does to most guys who give AndrAIa looks like that...

...Well, let's just say it's pretty damn fair.

Okay, right there, Danny's cheeks went dark purple, and his eyes were averted.

"...Deal."

The Gamesprite in question rolls her eyes at Matrix's antics, and shrugs off his hand from her shoulder.

"What'd I tell you about dragging me in on your grudges, lover?"

Feeling slightly mischievous, she sends a subtle wink in Danny's direction before turning to Dani.

"Now you, I haven't met before."

"I'm Dani. With an 'i'," she's careful to clarify. "I'm Danny's copy."

AndrAIa grins at the sprite.

"I've heard. Enzo talks about you a lot."

She extends a hand in Dani's direction.

"I'm AndrAIa, but I think that's already been covered."

"It's nice to meet you." Dani accepts the offered handshake.

There's a moment of silence in the room, and AndrAIa glances about for a moment before biting the proverbial bullet and asking the unavoidably awkward question.

"Sooo... you two are Users, then?"

The Game sprite looks immensely uncomfortable, lifting a hand to rub nervously at the back of her neck.

AndrAIa's winking earlier only made him turn more purple, but he ignored it. And hoped desperately part of Matrix letting the Boob-staring go was not speaking of it ever again, so Sam never heard about it.

"Yes, we're Users. But I already had my friend Tucker look into it, and as far as we know our world's computers, at least, don't have...tiny, tiny people inside. I've been inside a game, too. Last time I was here I didn't need to get converted to sprite form before coming in--one of the perks of being a half-ghost. It was just this time I knew I'd be here longer while Dani recuperated, so I went for the conversion so I didn't get too tired and go human in sprite-space."

He was rambling a little, but he was still slightly flustered.

Ignoring the wink, is he? We'll just have to see about that.

AndrAIa smiles softly at Danny. "That's very sweet of you to stay with Dani."

"Well, she's my clone. She's like...my little sister or something, by technicality, right? But she's cool enough that if I chose a little sister, I'd pick someone like her anyway."

A hand went out to mess up her hair, but it was difficult, what with it being so polygonal. Still, it was fun trying.

He grinned. "Even if sometimes you're a stubborn pain in the butt, isn't that right Dani. Of course, you probably got that from me."

And she smirks right back at him.

"No probably; I know I got it from you," Dani replies cheekily.

"Yeah, the stubborn gene must've been pretty solidly on the X chromosome. Which means you have two copies of it, instead of my one. So you're twice the stubborn."

Haha! He had a master grasp on genetics!

Well, not really, but at least he remembered what chromosomes went to what gender.
